This has to be one of my all time favorite songs. It is from Psalman Music written and performed by Paul David Daniel entitled “Psalm 91”.
And it happens to be one of my favorite Psalms too! Might as well read it while you listen… I do!
Psa 91:1 HE who dwells in the protection of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God; in him will I trust.
Psa 91:3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from vain gossip.
Psa 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall trust; his truth shall be your shield and buckler.
Psa 91:5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day,
Psa 91:6 Nor for the conspiracy that spreads in darkness; nor for the pestilence that wastes at noonday.
Psa 91:7 Thousands shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.
Psa 91:8 Only with your eyes shall you behold the reward of the wicked.
Psa 91:9 For thou, O LORD, art my trust; thou hast established thy habitation in the highest.
Psa 91:10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.
Psa 91:12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
Psa 91:13 You shall tread upon the viper and adder; you shall trample under foot the lion and the great serpent.
Psa 91:14 Because he has loved me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known my name.
Psa 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
Psa 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
