When you have a family of five, homeschool, live on a farm with lots of animals, and own a small business, life may seem to be in a constant state of confusion. I think we all know life’s “busyness” seems to just continue to ramp up at an-increasing frantic pace. I honestly believe it is the enemy trying to distract us from what is important! In a desperate attempt to regain some semblance of order, to focus on those things that DO matter, I created a “command center” for our family. I NEVER would have thought it would help, but I have to admit, it does! I now have my weekly menu planned for at least two weeks out (not that it doesn’t change sometimes… but 99% of the time it doesn’t). We have a week at a glance calendar to help us adjust our days. I created a chore chart for me and the boys. We also have a grocery list on a small clip board all at our fingertips in the middle of the control center. I put all the forms in a picture frame and use dry erase markers on the glass (except the grocery list). We are more organized, eating healthier, and staying on task better than we have in a long time! So, I am posting these resources in Word files so you can download them and modify them to fit your family’s needs (click link after the picture). If you have any questions, leave a comment below. I pray these will be a blessing to you and your family!
